Who this policy covers
This policy describes how MySeema ("MySeema," "we," "us") handles information through this website, initial inquiries, and our navigation and care-management services. Provider-sponsored services also follow the applicable organizational agreement, business associate agreement, and healthcare provider’s privacy notice. Our Health Information Privacy notice explains care records and direct-member health information in more detail.
Information we receive
- Contact and account information: names, email and mailing addresses, telephone numbers, organization and role, authorized contacts, membership selections, and communications you send us.
- Service information: information needed for the support requested, including appointment and provider details, care instructions, records, medication and refill information, and practical coordination needs. Submit this through the communication channel arranged with the team, not the marketing form.
- Billing information: the selected service, payment status, transaction and billing records, and information needed to handle a billing question. MySeema uses Stripe for payment processing. Use the payment channel supplied at enrollment; do not send full card numbers or security codes by email or in an inquiry.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, request time, and information used to deliver and protect the website.
How the inquiry tools work
Organizational inquiries collect your name, email, optional phone, organization and role, and a general business description. Selecting Send inquiry sends these details through Zapier for verification, queuing, and email delivery to support@myseema.com, with shaz@myseema.com copied privately. Zapier and our email systems may retain submission and workflow records.
The family contact path opens your email application or telephone. The website does not ask you to enter your name or medical details in that path. The email link prefills your selected support options; you review and send it in your own application. Once you send an email, MySeema and the email providers receive it.
Please do not put diagnoses, insurance IDs, medical records, or other sensitive health information in an initial marketing inquiry. Ordinary email is not an authenticated patient portal.
Website technology and third parties
Amazon Web Services provides website hosting and content delivery. Google Fonts supplies website fonts. The organizational form uses Google reCAPTCHA for abuse prevention. These providers receive technical information when their services are used. The published website does not embed advertising pixels or a marketing chat widget. This does not mean that hosting, security, or communication providers receive no information.
Third-party websites, linked documents, payment services, and communication applications operate under their own terms and privacy notices. Your browser’s settings may affect their cookies and storage. Blocking necessary security features can prevent the organizational form from working; email and telephone alternatives remain available.
How information is used and shared
We use information to respond to requests, arrange and provide agreed support, coordinate with authorized people and providers, manage billing, maintain necessary records, protect systems, and meet legal obligations. An inquiry is not consent to unrelated marketing or authorization to obtain a person’s care records.
Information may be shared with the treating care team, people authorized by the person receiving support or their lawful representative, and service providers supporting communications, records, payment processing, hosting, and operations. We may also disclose information where legally required, to respond to lawful process, or to address fraud or safety concerns as permitted by law. Applicable restrictions on health information continue to apply.
We use health information to support the service and legally permitted purposes described here. This website does not offer health information for sale. Any additional purpose requiring authorization or consent must be explained and authorized before that use.
Communications and your choices
Service communications may include email, telephone, SMS, or another messaging channel agreed with you. Tell us your preferred contact details, who may receive updates, and if a shared device or account creates a privacy concern. Message frequency depends on your service; carrier message and data charges may apply.
You may ask us to stop nonessential messages through the same communication channel or by emailing support@myseema.com. Follow any opt-out instructions included in an automated text. A request to stop texts does not by itself cancel paid membership; a clear request to cancel membership will be treated as a cancellation request. Required billing or legal notices may still be sent through an appropriate channel. Providing a phone number for an inquiry is not agreement to a marketing-text subscription.
Remote attendance and written notes are different from audio or video recording. Recording or automated transcription requires the notices and permissions applicable to that activity before it starts. Ask how an appointment will be documented before the visit.
Retention, requests, and complaints
We retain information for the purposes described here and for applicable service, contractual, recordkeeping, security, and legal requirements. A cancellation or deletion request does not always permit immediate destruction of records that must be retained.
Contact support@myseema.com to request access, correction, deletion, a copy, withdrawal of consent, or another applicable privacy right. You may also use an authorized representative where law permits. We may verify identity and authority before releasing or changing information. Do not attach sensitive records simply to make a request.
We handle requests and any permitted appeal within the deadlines required by the applicable law and explain any permitted refusal, extension, or record-retention restriction. If we hold records for a healthcare organization, we may need to route the request to that organization and assist it under the applicable agreement. You may ask for review of our response and contact the relevant regulator. We do not retaliate for exercising privacy rights.
Security and incidents
This website uses HTTPS. Appropriate handling of care information also depends on authorized access, suitable communication channels, and the requirements of the applicable service arrangement. No website or communication method can promise absolute security. Report a suspected privacy or security issue to support@myseema.com without including sensitive records or passwords.
If an incident requires notice to an individual, healthcare organization, regulator, or another party, we provide or coordinate that notice as required by applicable law and agreements. Our Trust & Security page explains the distinction between this public website and care-program systems.
Children and policy changes
This marketing website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. If a child’s information has been submitted in error, contact us. Any request for services involving a minor must be discussed separately with the team and an appropriately authorized adult.
The date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated as applicable law requires. We will obtain additional consent where required rather than treating a policy update as permission for a previously unauthorized use.
